Zambian model and influencer Lisa Mutambo, aged 25, tragically died in her Kalundu home in Lusaka after falling ill following an evening out with friends. Reports suggest she began vomiting uncontrollably before losing consciousness.
Authorities revealed Mutambo had attended an event as a brand ambassador earlier in the evening before moving to another venue around 10:30 PM with two female companions.
Police reports indicate her partner, Caleb Lisa (also known as Andrea), collected the group between 2:30 AM and 3:00 AM from the Minestone/Casanova area before driving Mutambo back to their Kalundu residence.
Upon arrival, she reportedly experienced severe nausea before collapsing. Her partner alerted a friend who assisted in rushing her to Victoria Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The incident was officially reported to Chelstone Police Station at approximately 9:30 AM Thursday. Hospital records place her time of death between 3:30 AM and 4:30 AM.
Initial social media speculation suggested foul play involving her partner, but preliminary police examinations found no signs of physical trauma on Mutambo’s body.
Following standard protocol, her remains were transferred from FSG Morgue to the University Teaching Hospital Morgue for an autopsy. Investigators examined both the residential and hospital locations as part of their ongoing inquiry into the unexpected passing of the young social media personality.
A formal case file has been opened while detectives work to establish the precise cause of death.
