He clarified that his absence from sharing moments with them on social media stems from legal constraints tied to their ongoing divorce proceedings.
The celebrated filmmaker reaffirmed his active involvement in their lives, including fulfilling parental duties and staying in regular communication.
Yul shared a recent heartwarming exchange where his son personally informed him about university matriculation, though scheduling conflicts prevented his attendance.
He stated, “My silence online regarding my children with May doesn’t reflect our relationship. A court mandate prohibits sharing their images publicly during this sensitive period.
“I maintain constant contact and continue supporting them financially through their mother.”
When questioned about transparency during his marriage, Yul responded diplomatically, “These matters extend beyond social media speculation.
“As a dignified man, I won’t engage in public finger-pointing. Family matters remain private—we all have imperfections.”
