Tuokpe Onuwaje, former spouse of ex-presidential aide Reno Omokri, has publicly criticized him for neglecting their child with special needs.
Her outburst followed Reno’s social media post featuring a gym photo with their daughter.
The ex-couple, who share three children, parted ways after Reno served as media adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Reno captioned the father-daughter snapshot with:
“My gorgeous mini-me joined me for a workout today.”
Tuokpe fired back on Facebook, accusing Reno of being an absentee father.
Her post read: “Reno Omokri, enough with the performative parenting.
“Your special needs son deserves more than occasional appearances. You haven’t made time for him since mid-2024—over twelve months of absence!
“Step up beyond Instagram moments. True fatherhood means showing up daily, not just for photo shoots.
“Parenting isn’t about curated images—it’s about consistent presence. Put family before filters!”
