Wizkid’s latest masterpiece, Morayo—a heartfelt homage to his mother, whose name translates to “I see joy” in Yoruba—has secured its place at No. 6 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Albums chart, proving its lasting appeal.

The 16-track album masterfully intertwines Afrobeats rhythms with R&B melodies, exploring themes of grief, resilience, and appreciation. Collaborations with global stars like Brent Faiyaz, Asake, and Burna Boy elevate its emotional depth and sonic richness.

Since its debut, Morayo has dominated charts, initially claiming the No. 1 spot on Apple Music Nigeria and holding an unprecedented 17 positions on the Top Songs chart. Months later, its influence remains strong, with 15 tracks still charting in the Top 100.
