Sammy West Released from Custody

Sammy West, Regina Daniels’ brother, has made a bold declaration—he is willing to endure repeated imprisonment if it means protecting his sister from alleged abuse by her former spouse, Senator Ned Nwoko.

This statement came shortly after Sammy regained his freedom on November 10, following his detention.

Sammy was apprehended by law enforcement last week after Senator Nwoko lodged a formal petition against him. He faced charges in an Abuja high court and was subsequently held in prison custody.

Upon his release, Sammy expressed unwavering resolve during an emotional video call with Regina, stating that he would willingly return to prison if it ensured her safety.

Regina later shared a snippet of their conversation on social media, captioning it:

“For my family, I’ll go to prison five times if I have to. As long as no one lays a hand on you again, I’m ready to face jail as many times as it takes,” he vowed, while Regina responded with heartfelt words of love and gratitude.
