Nigerian author Bismark Ekenedilichukwu Benson has exposed the real motive behind controversial activist Verydarkman’s recent attacks on Nigeria’s top music icons.
Bismark claims this is nothing but a calculated move to spark online drama and elevate his social media presence.
In a fiery Facebook post, he argued that Verydarkman is deliberately targeting Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido to manufacture a high-profile feud that would boost his clout.
His exact words: “Let’s keep it real, VDM – you’ve been itching for a showdown with Burna Boy.
A public spat with him would instantly elevate your street cred.
You’re desperate to provoke him and see how far this can go.
We all see through this game – you, me, even the local bingo players know what’s up.
That’s why you suddenly criticized his billion-naira car purchase amid Nigeria’s economic struggles.
You even dragged Davido and Wizkid’s luxury rides into the conversation to make it seem balanced – as if you weren’t specifically gunning for Burna.
Nice try, but I see you.
Secondly, let’s face facts – you’re running out of talking points.
You’re just jumping on whatever’s trending, fresh off the Pastor Ibiyomyom church drama, with the NAFDAC drug market scandal still unresolved.
To your naive followers, this looks like activism. Truth is, it’s just content creation – same as what the rest of us do.
Thirdly, since when did the cars these artists buy become your business?

This is rich coming from someone who couldn’t wait to tell us about Victor Osimhen’s generosity abroad.
Or how Tunde Headnut treated you like royalty during your UK trip.
Remember how excited you were showing off that hotel after Davido footed the bill?
Or when you filmed your mom’s prophetic prayers for Davido during a video call?
You clearly enjoy basking in reflected glory, yet you’re quick to judge others for their luxury purchases.
If Burna Boy invited you for a ride in his new whip, you’d be in the backseat filming a vlog with your ring light before he could say ‘accelerate’.
Fourthly, you claim Burna, Wiz, and Dave haven’t helped their communities while competing with cars.
What about you?
Where are the schools you’ve built or lands purchased with NGO funds?
What happened to that grand system you promised to protect Nigerian vendors from scams in China? How did that ‘United Nations’ Shanghai meeting pan out?
What about those 100k jobs for Nigerians in China you promised?
All talk, no action.
Yet you have the nerve to claim someone’s car purchase is ruining the country.
Meanwhile, you’ve been jet-setting globally, upgrading your wardrobe and apartments since your following grew.
With all these abandoned projects in your wake.
Please, spare us the hypocrisy.
