Social media star and professional boxer Jake Paul opened up about his recent defeat against British heavyweight Anthony Joshua in a high-profile bout last Friday.
Paul confessed to struggling with exhaustion and subpar conditioning during the match, acknowledging Joshua’s superior skills and devastating power.
The Miami showdown saw Paul suffer a broken jaw while surviving six grueling rounds against the former two-time world champion.
The American influencer-turned-fighter was sent to the canvas on four separate occasions throughout the contest.
Speaking after the fight (as reported by Metro UK), Paul revealed, “My jaw is absolutely fractured. But honestly, what an experience.
“This is my passion, and I’ll return stronger—I’m determined to claim a world title someday. Lasting this long against Joshua? Not shocking. Fatigue got the better of me.
“Managing his size and strength drained me. With better endurance, maybe I could’ve pushed harder. Hats off to him—his punches are absolutely brutal.”
