Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has opened up about his strong desire to return to Galatasaray on a permanent deal.
The Turkish giants made headlines by completing a historic €75 million transfer for Osimhen from Italian side Napoli.
The prolific striker landed in Istanbul on Wednesday evening and was warmly welcomed by Galatasaray supporters at Atatürk Airport.
A formal unveiling ceremony for the 26-year-old is scheduled at Rams Park ahead of Saturday’s clash against Lazio.
In an interview with GSTV, Osimhen explained his determination to rejoin the Süper Lig champions, citing his emotional bond with the club and its passionate fanbase.
“My heart has always been with this club, this city, these incredible supporters. That’s why I pushed so hard to come back,” Osimhen revealed.
“That same fire still burns inside me to play with passion and purpose.
“My goal is to deliver for both the team and our amazing fans. I’m truly excited to be back where I belong,” he added.
