Lizzy Anjorin

Nollywood star Lizzy Anjorin has publicly addressed the fatal car crash in Ogun State that took the lives of two associates of renowned boxer Anthony Joshua during his Nigerian homecoming.

In a viral social media clip, the actress controversially pointed fingers at Joshua’s mother, suggesting she should have ensured her son remained in more secure Lagos neighborhoods like Lekki or Ikoyi rather than traveling to his hometown during the holiday rush.

Anjorin argued that high-profile celebrities requires special security considerations, especially during peak travel seasons when risks escalate.

She emphasized that international sports icons should avoid open movement in rural areas where safety measures may be lacking.

“Anthony Joshua’s mother failed him. No responsible parent would allow their globally renowned child to venture into potentially unsafe regions during festive chaos.

“Why not insist on staying at exclusive, high-security zones like Banana Island?

This tragedy was preventable with proper planning,” she asserted.

The dreadful incident occurred while Joshua was visiting Nigeria to reconnect with family roots, leaving two of his travel companions dead while he narrowly survived.

Authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision that shocked the nation.
