The Cameroonian international considers Messi a greater influence on his career compared to Portuguese legend Ronaldo.
Speaking with F2Freestylers, Mbeumo was asked to select his top eight players from different nations chosen by the host.
He picked Wayne Rooney for England, Juninho for Brazil, Andrea Pirlo for Italy, and Toni Kroos for Germany.
Mbuemo also named Cristiano Ronaldo as Portugal’s finest, Andres Iniesta as Spain’s greatest, Messi for Argentina, and Eden Hazard for Belgium.
Previously, the Cameroon star acknowledged both Messi and Ronaldo as his childhood inspirations.
