Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is expected to interact with Galatasaray supporters this Tuesday.
The news was confirmed by sports commentator Hakan Gündoğar, stating Osimhen will land in Istanbul on Tuesday.
“Osimhen arrives in Istanbul Tuesday. Reliable sources confirm. He’ll greet Galatasaray fans that same day,” Gündoğar commented (via habersarikirmizi).
“Galatasaray supporters are preparing a monumental welcome ceremony for Victor Osimhen.”
Earlier reports confirmed Galatasaray and Napoli finalized banking arrangements and payment schedules for Osimhen’s permanent move to the Turkish champions ahead of the new season.
The transfer deal stipulates Galatasaray will pay Osimhen’s €75 million buyout clause in two segments – €40 million upfront and €35 million within twelve months.
Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, previously rejected lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal to continue his career in Turkey.
