She admitted this decision created tension with her then-husband, who desired additional children.
The actress recalled how her ex-spouse persistently urged her to reconsider, but she remained resolute in her stance.
Detailing the medical process, Bello described how surgeons accessed her reproductive system through her navel to block her fallopian tubes.

“The doctors performed the surgery through my belly button—they entered, completed the process, and sealed everything. My eggs were effectively locked away.
“I often joked that if I ever conceived after that procedure, it would be nothing short of immaculate conception—a true miracle.”
