Nollywood star Uzor Arukwe has fired back at rumors linking him romantically to his co-star Bamike Olawunmi (Bambam), dismissing claims that he fathered a child with her and contributed to marital troubles with her husband, Teddy A.
The speculation erupted online following their on-screen chemistry in the viral 2025 YouTube drama Love In Every Word, sparking unfounded gossip across social platforms.
One inflammatory post on 𝕏 alleged, “Actress BamBam’s marriage has reportedly collapsed after her husband discovered she was expecting a child with her co-star from their latest film. Private chats supposedly exposed the affair, proving once again that women can’t be trusted.”
In a fiery response, Arukwe confirmed legal action is underway against the rumor’s originators, stating he has already pinpointed a key account responsible for the defamatory claims.
The actor issued a stern warning, declaring his intent to hold the perpetrators accountable as a deterrent against reckless online slander.
His statement read: “One particular account has been flagged for spreading malicious lies about my professional relationship with a fellow actor. I won’t amplify their handle—they don’t deserve the attention, especially when facing potential legal repercussions.
“Mark my words: this individual will face the full consequences. It’s time to teach a lesson about crossing lines and trading reputations for cheap clout and Twitter fame.”
