Nigerian entertainer Tomama, widely recognized as Dat Warri Girl, recently shared a shocking family revelation about her mother’s first marriage and the desperate pursuit of a male heir.
The outspoken media personality disclosed how her mother faced rejection after bearing only daughters, prompting her first husband to seek multiple marriages in hopes of fathering a son.
Despite marrying seven different women, each union produced only daughters—until his final attempt yielded a boy. However, in a dramatic twist, DNA testing later exposed that this long-awaited son wasn’t biologically his.
Tomama couldn’t hide her amusement at the irony, noting that her mother found happiness in a new marriage that blessed her with three sons.
Fellow entertainer Uti Nwachukwu weighed in with a thought-provoking response: “Many men remain unaware that issues they blame women for often originate with them. Times have changed—science now proves fetal viability depends largely on sperm quality, not just the woman’s reproductive health.”
He continued: “Chromosomal abnormalities and certain congenital conditions also trace back to male factors. Honestly, anyone who still values one gender over another doesn’t deserve peace after mistreating others!”
