BBNaija sensation Uriel Oputa has fired back at critics who scrutinize women’s motherhood choices.
Taking to social media, the outspoken reality star vented her frustration over how society turns women’s personal decisions into public spectacles.
She lamented the harsh judgment women face—whether they opt for natural birth, surrogacy, or IVF—pointing out that no path seems to satisfy public opinion.
Uriel emphasized that behind every choice is a human being with emotions, hidden battles, and personal struggles often overlooked.
“Why does it matter how a woman brings life into this world?” she challenged. “Rather than rejoicing in new life, people nitpick—‘She didn’t breastfeed like I did’ or ‘Why didn’t she choose differently?’ No two journeys are identical, not even for twins.”
She called out the audacity of strangers dissecting the lives of public figures like Toke Makinwa, Tiwa Savage, and Hilda Baci, questioning their right to judge.
“Who made you the authority on their lives?” she shot back. “Some Nigerians truly lack boundaries.”
In her post, Uriel condemned the toxic culture of tearing women down for embracing motherhood in their own way, urging introspection over criticism.
“It’s vile watching women attack each other,” she wrote. “Your negativity reflects your stagnation. I’ll always stand up for Toke and any woman facing unwarranted hate.”
