Reality TV sensation Uriel Oputa has fired back at social commentator Solomon Buchi for his controversial remarks regarding media personality Toke Makinwa’s pregnancy announcement.
Buchi, in a viral social media clip, congratulated Toke but admonished her for “spiritualizing” her pregnancy while allegedly disregarding biblical principles on marriage and childbirth.
The commentator argued that while he supported Toke’s choice to become a mother, he disapproved of celebrating out-of-wedlock pregnancies as something aligned with Christian values.
Clapping back via Instagram, Uriel challenged Buchi’s stance, declaring that he lacks the authority to critique Toke’s personal journey, especially without understanding her struggles or circumstances.
The BBNaija alum further questioned why men feel entitled to police women’s reproductive choices and life decisions.
