Veteran Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has launched a scathing attack against controversial Kayamata merchant Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, popularly called Jaruma, accusing her of tarnishing his reputation and allegedly manipulating his son into creating inappropriate social media content.
The screen icon took to Instagram to express his outrage, condemning Jaruma for featuring his image and name in what he labeled a disgraceful promotional clip.
Emeka Ike demanded the immediate removal of his personal details from Jaruma’s platforms, vehemently denying any association with her products or business ventures.
In a heartfelt message directed at his son, the seasoned actor criticized his ex-wife for withdrawing their child from university education while pushing him toward social media influence—a decision Emeka strongly opposes.
The emotional post continued: “JARUMA! What madness is this? Why drag my name and face into these vulgar promotions? You’re clearly courting trouble—bring it on if you dare!
“Remove my identity from your obscene content immediately. I have zero connection to your merchandise and completely reject any affiliation with your brand.”
Addressing his son Michael directly, Emeka lamented: “I enrolled you in university, only for your mother to withdraw you during sophomore year—claiming education is worthless while pushing you toward instant fame. Is this the result? Is this how you build a future?”
“As your father, I wanted you to complete your education first—just as I did before entering acting. Was that my offense? You rejected proper upbringing, and now Jaruma—of all people—is shaping your path?”
The distraught father revealed: “You previously told media you wanted independence from my name. I secured international opportunities for your education and career—yet here you languish, directionless, in Jaruma’s compromising scenarios.”
Emeka concluded with a stern warning: “This isn’t the son I raised. Whatever psychological manipulation occurred, divine justice will prevail. My legal team is investigating this disgraceful situation.”
The actor reaffirmed his principles: “I’ve built my reputation through decades of hard work. Cease defiling the Emeka Ike legacy immediately. This isn’t the promising future I envisioned when you abandoned education to become a ‘mummy’s boy.’ I pray for your awakening.”
