Global music sensation Tyla is set to electrify Lagos as part of her groundbreaking APOP World Tour, scheduled for December 22 at a surprise venue in the city.
This Nigerian stop forms a key highlight of the amapiano star’s inaugural global headline tour, spanning 34 cities worldwide to promote her newly released self-titled album, *APOP*.
This unprecedented international circuit marks the South African artist’s most expansive touring endeavor yet, crossing three continents with major shows planned across Europe, North America, and her native Africa.
Live Nation unveiled the tour schedule on Monday, revealing an October 12 launch in Paris before sweeping through iconic European venues in Amsterdam, London, Brussels, Berlin, and Scandinavian capitals.
The North American leg ignites on November 12 with consecutive performances in California’s Bay Area, Pacific Northwest hubs, and East Coast powerhouses including New York and Boston before culminating in entertainment mecca Las Vegas.
Following the transatlantic journey, Tyla brings the spectacle home to African soil – first dazzling Lagos audiences, then concluding with hometown victory shows in Cape Town (January 4) and Johannesburg (January 9).
Dedicated fans gain 48-hour exclusive presale access starting July 29 via the artist’s website, with general public tickets becoming available July 31 through authorized platforms.
Before dominating global charts, Tyla (born Tyla Laura Seethal) emerged from Johannesburg’s vibrant music scene, achieving viral fame with 2023’s “Water” – the amapiano anthem that propelled African sounds onto world stages.
The trailblazer now holds multiple industry accolades including back-to-back Grammy wins (2024’s Best African Music Performance and 2025 award) plus Billboard’s prestigious Impact Award for expanding African music’s worldwide influence.
