Renowned Turkish football analyst Adnan Aybaba has sparked controversy with his remarks about Napoli’s prolific striker Victor Osimhen.
Speaking on the popular sports show Telegol, Aybaba confidently staked his reputation, declaring he would dye his entire body black should Osimhen outperform top Turkish Super Lig forwards Dusan Vlahovic (Besiktas) and Romelu Lukaku (Fenerbahce) in goals this season.
Aybaba placed Vlahovic above Osimhen in terms of technical ability, asserting that the Serbian international possesses superior footballing intelligence. He doubled down on his stance by forecasting Lukaku, despite his slow start, will eventually surpass the Nigerian’s goal tally.
The bold challenge comes as Osimhen leads with five league goals for Galatasaray, while Vlahovic trails with three. Lukaku remains goalless in the early stages of the season, making Aybaba’s prediction particularly contentious.
