Kelechi Iheanacho has shared his enthusiasm after finalizing his transfer to Scottish Premiership winners Celtic.

His move to the Glasgow-based club was officially announced earlier this week.

The Nigerian forward joined Brendan Rodgers’ team on a free transfer following the termination of his contract with Spanish side Sevilla.

The 28-year-old striker signed a one-year deal, which includes an option for an extension.

This marks a reunion with Rodgers, who previously managed him at Leicester City.

Iheanacho expressed his eagerness to contribute to the club’s success.

“Joining Celtic is an incredible opportunity, and I’m thrilled to be here. This is a legendary club that I’ve admired for years,” he stated in an interview on the club’s website.
