Tottenham Hotspur has dismissed Ange Postecoglou from his managerial position.
The coach was relieved of his duties shortly after clinching the Europa League title.
Postecoglou, aged 59, assumed the role of Spurs manager in the summer of 2023. In his first season, he steered the North London side to a solid 5th-place Premier League finish.
However, the 2024–2025 season turned disastrous. Tottenham recorded only 11 victories, 5 draws, and 22 defeats, ending up 17th in the standings with a mere 38 points—a historic low for the club in the Premier League era.
Amid domestic woes, Postecoglou achieved European success, leading Spurs to victory over Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League final, securing their first major trophy in nearly two decades.
While the triumph briefly revived optimism among supporters, it failed to salvage the Australian manager’s tenure.
