YouTube has unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 Nigeria Year-in-Review, showcasing the top-performing music videos, digital creators, and trending entertainment content that captivated Nigerian audiences all year.
Leading the pack were gospel sensation Akinade “Gaise Baba” Ibuoye and celebrated Nollywood star Omoni Oboli, who claimed the spotlight as the platform’s standout performers.
The official rankings were disclosed in a statement by YouTube’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, Addy Awofisayo.
Gaise Baba reigned supreme in the music category with his chart-topping anthem “No Turning Back II,” featuring Lawrence Oyor, securing its place as Nigeria’s most-watched music video of 2025.
Released in May, the track skyrocketed in popularity, amassing over 41 million views in just six months while sparking widespread engagement across social media.
