Nollywood star-turned-minister Tonto Dikeh continues to prove her spiritual transformation is more than just words, months after publicly declaring her commitment to evangelism.
The multifaceted entertainer and political activist revealed in February that she had graduated from an intensive discipleship training at Streams of Joy International, led by renowned pastor Jerry Eze.
Through an emotional Instagram video, the screen icon displayed her certificate while sharing how this spiritual journey has radically reshaped her purpose and worldview.
Her newfound calling became evident when she reportedly conducted her first deliverance session, freeing a young student from what she described as spiritual oppression.
“This was God showing me a glimpse of my divine assignment,” Dikeh explained. “Having been rescued from darkness myself, I’m now called to help liberate others.”
Bearing spiritual fruit
From pulpit engagements to street evangelism and digital ministry, the former “King Tonto” has remained steadfast in her gospel mission.
Her latest message emphasized the importance of abiding in Christ for supernatural productivity.
“Just as a branch withers when disconnected from the vine, we can only flourish when rooted in Jesus,” she preached.
On Instagram, she elaborated: “True fulfillment comes when we remain in constant communion with our Savior. In His presence, we grow and bear fruit that transforms lives.”
Citing John 15:5, she reminded followers that spiritual vitality flows from intimate connection with Christ, the true vine.
Authentic faith journey
In previous reflections, Dikeh has opened up about cultivating genuine faith beyond religious routines.
“Christianity isn’t about Sunday performances but daily surrender,” she wrote, referencing James 4:8’s call to draw near to God.
She challenged believers: “God desires an ongoing relationship – not just emotional highs, but a life consistently yielded to His will and ways.”
