Nollywood star and political figure Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her journey through love, emphasizing that she holds no bitterness toward her past.
During a heartfelt conversation with Chude, she revisited her former relationships, revealing that her first love blessed her with an irreplaceable gift—her son, whom she affectionately called the world’s most handsome boy.
As for her second romance, she admitted it was a challenging chapter that revealed harsh truths about betrayal and emotional resilience.
Tonto acknowledged that while she might not repeat those choices, she refuses to disown them, as they were stepping stones to self-discovery.
The actress also addressed being consistently underestimated, vowing to finally silence the doubters by proving her true strength.
She declared: “If I had to relive my past, would I make the same choices? Maybe not—but regret? Never. I walked into those relationships with my eyes open, and they sculpted me into who I am.
“One brought me my incredible son, and the other exposed the darkest sides of love. Both were necessary.”
She added: “People think they know me—but they don’t. Soon enough, they’ll see exactly what I’m capable of.”
