DJ Cuppy

Renowned Nigerian DJ and producer Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, recently took to social media to celebrate her older sister, Tolani Otedola.

Through a heartfelt post on X, Cuppy highlighted Tolani’s understated yet profound influence within their family.

She emphasized that despite Tolani’s reserved nature, her impact is undeniable, proving that quiet confidence can leave a lasting impression.

The “Gelato” hitmaker shared: “My sister @shesTolani may be the most understated in our family, yet her silent strength resonates deeply. Those who know, know.

“She’s living proof that authenticity doesn’t need theatrics to be powerful 🫶🏾”

Born on April 21, 1986, in Lagos, Tolani is the eldest child of billionaire Femi Otedola and ex-wife Olayinka Odukoya.

She shares her father with DJ Cuppy and Temi Otedola, though her mother differs.

A psychology graduate from Scotland’s University of St Andrews, Tolani later ventured into music as a vocalist and composer.

Her discography includes collaborations like Tenderoni with Skales and Ba Mi Lo featuring Reekado Banks.

In 2017, she made waves with a Lagos concert, marking her re-entry into the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Tolani’s serene disposition offers a striking contrast to the high-profile careers of her younger sisters.
