Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage recently shared an exciting story about how her son, Jamil Balogun, managed to meet viral internet personality IShowSpeed during the American star’s trip to Nigeria.

Despite being in Davos herself at the time, Tiwa received an urgent request from her son pleading for help in arranging the encounter.

She later delighted fans by posting a picture of Jamil posing with the popular YouTuber, along with their amusing conversation where the determined youngster convinced his famous mom to pull some strings.

Playfully acknowledging the effort it took, Tiwa expressed gratitude to several friends and event coordinators who helped make her son’s wish come true.

Her caption read: “Mommy please, I know you can connect me with @IShowSpeed even from Davos…”

IShowSpeed (born Darren Watkins Jr.) has been captivating African audiences as part of his highly publicized continental tour, documenting every adventure for his millions of online followers.

The visit also coincided with two major milestones – celebrating his 21st birthday and hitting the 50-million subscriber mark on YouTube.
