Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has broken her silence on the viral s3x tape scandal, denying any involvement in its leak.
The controversial footage surfaced in 2021 after she reportedly refused to yield to a blackmailer’s demands.
In a candid conversation on Hot 97, the award-winning artist opened up about the emotional toll of the incident.
“The backlash was crushing,” Tiwa revealed. “Instead of support, I faced blame for refusing extortion. Many claimed I orchestrated the leak for fame – if that were true, I’d have at least controlled the production quality.”
The singer emphasized how critics overlooked her victimhood, adding: “People with influence used their platforms to attack me when I needed compassion most. This wasn’t some calculated career move – it was a violation.”
