She has officially retracted her police complaint against Segun Olaoluwa, closing the legal chapter of their dispute.
Months ago, Olaoluwa sparked controversy by posting a video alleging the actress’s HIV status—a claim she vehemently denied.
After the video went viral, Amusa pursued legal action, leading to Olaoluwa’s arrest and detention. In a recent emotional video, Olaoluwa described his traumatic experience behind bars.
He publicly apologized to the actress, admitting his mistake and expressing remorse for the false accusation.
In a gracious response, Amusa shared her own video statement announcing her decision to forgive him, quoting: “To err is human, to forgive divine.”
The actress revealed that learning about Olaoluwa’s recent bereavement—the loss of his mother—influenced her choice to drop the case.
Initially, Amusa had vowed to make an example of Olaoluwa for spreading harmful misinformation about her health status.
