Nigerian TikTok sensation Amadou Elizabeth, widely recognized as Jarvis, has opened up about her mother’s deteriorating health and her growing distress over potential online exploitation.
In a raw and vulnerable Instagram video posted by hushbobby_media, the influencer voiced fears that detractors could film her sick mother and manipulate the footage to attack her reputation.
“My mom is seriously ill right now. The internet can be ruthless—tomorrow, someone might record her in this state and twist it against me. That’s my biggest fear: people discovering her condition and using it to drag me online,” Jarvis confessed tearfully.
She braced for backlash from netizens who might accuse her of neglecting her mother despite her financial stability. However, she emphasized that her mother’s illness has reached a point where money alone cannot provide a solution.
“People will say, ‘You have all this wealth—why isn’t she better?’ But the truth is, this goes beyond finances. It’s in God’s hands now,” she added.
Jarvis paid tribute to her mother’s resilience, highlighting how she raised the family alone after being abandoned by their Senegalese father.
“My mom gave everything for us. She fought tirelessly without any help—no support from my dad, nothing. She’s my hero,” she shared, her voice trembling.
The social media star also recounted her relentless efforts to locate her estranged father, who once lovingly called her Aminata before vanishing from their lives.
“He used to call me Aminata when I was little—I’d just laugh, not understanding. Then suddenly, all contact stopped. I’ve searched everywhere, even traveled to Senegal. I won’t give up,” Jarvis revealed.
