Popular TikTok personality Saheed Jamiu Osama, widely known as Shamsodium, has regained his freedom following a three-month incarceration at Ikoyi Correctional Facility.
His release came after meeting stringent bail conditions related to accusations of online harassment and slander against Omowunmi, the wife of the late musician Mohbad.
Shamsodium faced arrest after staging public protests with placards alleging Omowunmi’s involvement in Mohbad’s tragic demise, sparking widespread controversy.
In viral videos, he boldly carried signs with statements like “Wunmi k!lled Mohbad,” fueling heated debates across social media platforms.
Upon his release, he publicly commended his legal representative, Bolaji Oluwatosin, hailing him as “an exceptional lawyer” for successfully navigating the complex legal proceedings.
The court reportedly mandated a N3 million bail bond, verified sureties, and submission of valid identity and residential proofs as part of the release agreement.
