Nigerian artist Palisico Ogunka, widely known as Sky B, has opened up about a dark period in his journey as a musician.

In a viral video, the “Ma Bebe” crooner revealed he once became a member of the Illuminati, seeking the same level of stardom as industry heavyweight Don Jazzy. His confession shed light on a decision made at the height of his early success.

The singer recounted how this life-altering choice came about in 2007 when his career was gaining momentum. Eager for greater recognition and wealth in the competitive music scene, he sought assistance from an acquaintance.

This contact led to a chain of events that connected him with individuals claiming affiliation to the secret society’s African branch after an initial UK-based introduction.

Following his induction, Sky B described receiving mysterious items including jewelry, fragrances, and a peculiar ointment specifically for performances. These objects, he believed, held supernatural properties tied to his newfound prosperity.

The artist detailed how his circumstances transformed dramatically post-initiation. Luxury vehicles, international travel, and adoring fans became commonplace in his life. Women flocked to him, and financial success seemed effortless.

However, the mysterious cream given to him—which he said contained bizarre ingredients—altered his appearance dramatically. His skin developed an unnatural glow, making him stand out in public spaces.

As time passed, the situation grew increasingly unsettling. Members would appear in his home mysteriously, with no regard for locked doors. The conversations eventually turned ominous, touching on subjects involving ritual offerings.

Alarmed by discussions suggesting potential harm to relatives, Sky B resolved to leave the organization. His departure was followed by a string of near-fatal accidents—three in just thirty days—which he interprets as warnings from his former associates.

Since abandoning that path, the vocalist lost all material gains from that era. Speaking candidly, he hopes his cautionary tale will prevent others from making similar choices in pursuit of fame.
