Imisi Ayanwale, the champion of Big Brother Naija Season 10, recently opened up about a heartbreaking personal tragedy that occurred right before her journey on the show began.
Speaking with TVC, Imisi revealed she suffered the devastating loss of her child in April, mere weeks before auditioning for the hit reality series.
She admitted that the pain was so intense that she struggled to discuss it during that period.
“I lost my baby this April, barely a month before my Big Brother audition. The grief was unbearable, and I wasn’t ready to speak about it then,” she confessed.
The housemate turned winner shared that this loss, along with the end of her relationship with ex-boyfriend Hakeem, fueled her drive to transform sorrow into success.
Now victorious with an ₦80 million prize and a brand-new SUV, Imisi plans to venture into the music industry while expanding her brand beyond reality TV.
She also teased a budding romance, sparking speculation among fans about her post-show personal life.
