More troubling revelations suggest Natasha may have deliberately withheld critical documents including the singer’s international passport, sabotaging professional commitments and exposing Africa’s music legend to both financial losses and public humiliation.
The legal filing raises urgent concerns about potential violations of Nigeria’s marriage laws, particularly noting that 2Baba’s divorce from former wife Annie Macauley Idibia remains pending—while Natasha reportedly presented herself as his lawful spouse.
A particularly chilling excerpt reads: “Evidence suggests Natasha Osawaru’s alleged substance abuse triggers violent episodes, creating an unsafe environment that jeopardizes Innocent Idibia’s mental health and physical security—situations requiring immediate police intervention.”
The controversy intensified after explosive revelations emerged during a social media firestorm, when 2Baba’s former managers—Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan—alleged during a live Instagram session that Natasha was strategically manipulating the artist’s financial and professional affairs.
Drama peaked when the music legend unexpectedly joined the live broadcast, attempting to silence the discussion about his personal life—only for the stream to cut abruptly amid sounds of a physical confrontation between the couple.
In a heartbreaking social media plea, the singer’s younger sibling Hyacinth Idibia posted: “Brother, please let us rescue you from this nightmare”—highlighting the family’s growing desperation.
The scandal has now reached Nigeria’s legislative chambers, with the Edo State House of Assembly demanding Natasha—who holds an elected position representing Egor constituency—appear before its ethics committee to account for her controversial conduct.
