Senator Ned Nwoko has expressed sympathy for men who have only one wife, calling it a difficult way to live.

During a recent appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Sunday, October 26, the lawmaker shared his unconventional views on marriage and family.

He also addressed the rumors of turmoil in his relationship with actress Regina Daniels.

When questioned about how he manages four wives, a situation most would consider overwhelming, Nwoko took a moment before offering a thought-provoking analogy:

“That’s a discussion for another time. But yes, every man should embrace this. Think about balancing on one leg—it’s unstable. But with two, three, or four, you gain stability. That’s the point I make. I pity those limited to one wife; life is harder that way.”

Challenged on biblical teachings condemning polygamy, the senator swiftly countered, “The Old Testament permits it. As a man of faith, I stand by that. But this conversation isn’t about scripture.”

Pressed about any marital regrets, Nwoko remained unshaken.

“None at all. I’d make the same choices again. Marriage should reflect personal freedom—you wed who you desire.”

The Delta North senator also dismissed claims of domestic abuse made by Regina Daniels after she posted emotional messages hinting at mistreatment.

“Seriously? Violence isn’t in my nature. I cherish and honor my wives and children,” he asserted.

These statements followed Regina’s Instagram reveal of a lavish new home, fueling separation speculations.

The actress captioned the property showcase with bold words: “In my domain, I reign supreme. I secured this sanctuary for myself and my loved ones.”

Her post came days after a disturbing video surfaced on October 18, showing her tearfully declaring outside their Abuja residence that she could no longer tolerate alleged abuse.

“In Ned Nwoko’s world, I’m diminished. But in my own palace, I’m royalty. The aggression is unbearable.”

Their six-year marriage—widely discussed due to their significant age gap—now faces public scrutiny as both parties address their differences in contrasting ways.
