Opeyemi Ayanwale, the newly crowned winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, has revealed her disbelief at clinching the coveted title. Known affectionately as Imisi, the reality star admitted she never anticipated her triumphant moment.
During an exclusive chat with Arise TV, Imisi confessed she was caught off guard by her victory. “I wasn’t prepared at all—I didn’t even dress appropriately for the grand finale,” she shared with a mix of excitement and amusement.
The rising star also opened up about battling nerves moments before her name was called.
“Honestly, winning felt surreal. I never saw it coming,” she revealed.
“Hearing the crowd scream my name made me so anxious. When they announced me as the winner, I was completely stunned.”
“I wore crocs on stage because heels aren’t my thing. The whole experience was unexpected—I didn’t plan for any of it,” Imisi added with a laugh.
Imisi secured her victory with a landslide win against runner-up Dede during Sunday’s thrilling finale. Her impressive N150 million prize package, including N80 million cash and a sleek Innoson SUV, was officially presented on Tuesday.
