Chiamaka Nnadozie

Super Falcons’ goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been shortlisted for the 2025 Women’s Yachine Trophy, the prestigious Ballon d’Or honor for the finest female goalkeeper globally.

At just 24, Nnadozie made a high-profile move to Brighton Women FC from Paris FC, where she played a pivotal role in clinching their first major trophy in nearly 20 years.

She shone brightly in the 2025 Coupe de France Féminine final, making crucial saves as Paris FC triumphed 5-4 on penalties against Paris Saint-Germain after a stalemate at Stade de l’Épopée in Calais.

Nnadozie was equally vital for Nigeria’s triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), helping the Super Falcons claim their historic 10th title by defeating hosts Morocco.

Her exceptional performances secured her the Best Goalkeeper accolade and a spot in the Tournament’s All-Star Team.

Joining her as Yachine Trophy nominees are Ann-Katrin Berger (Gotham FC), Cata Coll (Barcelona Femeni), Hannah Hampton (Chelsea Women), and Daphne van Domselaar (Arsenal Women).
