Super Falcons and Bay FC forward, Asisat Oshoala, has officially joined Al Hilal after signing a two-year deal in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.
The six-time African Women’s Player of the Year traveled to Saudi Arabia on Monday to complete her medical before the transfer window closed.
“Bay FC and Al Hilal agreed on an undisclosed fee, with Oshoala set for her medical examination tonight (Monday),” the report confirmed.
The 29-year-old striker moved to Bay FC earlier this year following a successful stint with FC Barcelona Femeni, where she clinched numerous league titles, Champions League trophies, and top scorer awards.
Oshoala started 23 of 25 matches for Bay FC last season, netting seven goals. This season, her playing time has decreased, with just five starts in 12 appearances and no goals scored.
Her transfer strengthens Al Hilal’s squad after their sixth-place finish in the 2024-25 season, which featured an expanded 10-team league.
She now reunites with fellow Super Falcons stars Ashleigh Plumptre and Francisca Ordega in Saudi Arabia.
