Nigeria’s Super Falcons have secured their spot in the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2026 in Morocco, continuing their legacy as the continent’s dominant force in women’s football.

The defending champions guaranteed their participation following an impressive two-legged qualifier against Benin.

A strong 2–0 away win in Cotonou was followed by a hard-fought 1–1 draw in Abeokuta, ensuring their unbeaten record and a 3–1 aggregate triumph.

With this achievement, the Falcons maintain their perfect qualification streak, having competed in every Women’s AFCON since the tournament began.

The nine-time champions join Morocco, the host nation, as the early confirmed participants for the 2026 championship, setting the stage for another thrilling continental showdown.
