Victor Osimhen, the prolific Super Eagles and Galatasaray forward, has been honored as GQ’s Sportsman of the Year in Turkey.
The 26-year-old, previously a standout at Napoli, accepted the award at a star-studded gala event in Istanbul.
The recognition, presented by Turkey’s GQ Magazine, highlights excellence across multiple industries, from athletics to entertainment, celebrating individuals who have made a significant impact.
Osimhen earned the distinction following a stellar campaign with Galatasaray, where his 37-goal contribution powered the team to a historic domestic double—clinching both the Super Lig and Turkish Cup.
Despite battling injuries in the current season, the striker remains a formidable force, tallying 11 goals in just 14 matches.
In total, the Nigerian sensation has delivered 37 goals and seven assists for Galatasaray this term.
