Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has vowed to pursue legal action against an online blogger who falsely accused him of failing a drug test for cocaine, alleging a two-year suspension from football.
The controversial post, shared by user @YK_Milli on X, stated: “Victor Boniface has been handed a two-year ban by FIFA after testing positive for cocaine during a routine drug screening.”
Several followers quickly dismissed the claim as fabricated, warning the blogger to retract the statement or face consequences. Despite the backlash, the user refused to back down.
Boniface responded directly, signaling his intent to escalate the matter legally with a sharp retort: “Hope you’ve secured a solid lawyer. For your sake, I hope you have.”
