Several Super Eagles players shared their thoughts after the Super Falcons triumphed over Morocco in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final.

Despite trailing 2-0, the Super Falcons mounted a comeback to defeat Morocco 3-2 in the WAFCON final on Saturday night at Rabat’s Olympic Stadium.

Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy put Morocco ahead in the first half, but Nigeria’s Esther Okoronkwo, Folashade Ijamilusi, and Jennifer Echegini secured the victory with three goals.

Super Eagles stars celebrated the Falcons’ historic 10th WAFCON title on social media platforms like X and Instagram.

William Troost-Ekong simply wrote: “CHAMPIONS.”
