Eric Chelle, the tactician steering Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has set his sights on clinching Africa’s biggest football honors—the AFCON trophy and the FIFA World Cup.

With his current contract nearing its end, Chelle shared his aspirations during the podcast, revealing his determination to elevate Nigerian football on the global stage.

“Surrounding myself with a strong support system has been crucial for my growth as a coach. While my dream of becoming the first African manager at Real Madrid remains, it’s just one of many goals,” Chelle stated.

“Winning the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria is a priority. Beyond that, I envision leading the Super Eagles to World Cup qualification—and ultimately lifting the trophy.”

“At 48, I’m still driven by ambition. Age hasn’t dimmed my hunger to achieve greatness.”
