Stanley Nwabali

Nigeria’s Super Eagles shot-stopper Stanley Nwabali has officially ended his four-year tenure with Chippa United, marking a new chapter in his professional journey.

The South African Premier Division side announced the departure through an official communiqué released on Thursday.

Breaking the news further, the club revealed that the talented goalkeeper formally requested a transfer, seeking fresh opportunities elsewhere.

Interestingly, the 29-year-old had recently committed to Chippa United by signing a three-year contract extension earlier this year.

In a gracious move, the club honored his request, stating they had “mutually agreed to terminate his contract” while extending best wishes for his future endeavors.

“Chippa United extends heartfelt gratitude to Stanley Nwabali for his unwavering dedication, exceptional professionalism, and invaluable contributions throughout his spell with us.

His legacy at our club will be remembered fondly,” the emotional farewell statement concluded.
