The team flew to South Africa on a ValueJet Airline flight.
22 players were part of the traveling party, along with technical personnel, NFF representatives, and supporters.
Star striker Victor Osimhen will miss the match due to an injury.
Osimhen sustained the injury during the first half of Nigeria’s 1-0 win over Rwanda in Uyo last Saturday.
The clash between South Africa and Nigeria will take place on Tuesday at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Kickoff is scheduled for 5pm Nigerian time.
