Super Eagles Drop One Spot In Latest FIFA Ranking

Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria hold the top four spots in Africa’s rankings.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have slipped one position in FIFA’s latest men’s world rankings.

The updated list, published by FIFA on Thursday, places the three-time African champions at 44th globally.

The team now stands fifth in Africa under coach Eric Chelle.

Morocco leads the continent, followed by Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria.

During the review period, Nigeria drew 1-1 with Russia at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium.

Argentina, the reigning world champions, remain atop the rankings.
