Super Eagles

Nigeria’s Super Eagles are gearing up for their journey from Cairo to Fez today as they intensify preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations campaign.

The squad, under the guidance of head coach Eric Chelle, commenced their training sessions in Cairo on Sunday ahead of the continental showdown.

With all 28 players, including star striker Victor Osimhen, now in camp, the team is set to regroup following their 2-1 defeat against Egypt in a warm-up match at Cairo International Stadium.

The three-time AFCON champions will now shift focus to refining their strategies upon arrival in Fez, Morocco.

Their group stage opener kicks off against Tanzania’s Taifa Stars on Tuesday, followed by clashes with Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles on December 27 and Uganda’s Cranes on December 30.

All Group B matches will be held at the iconic Grand Stade de Fèz, where the Super Eagles aim to soar.
