Renowned Nollywood actress Stella Damasus has shared heartbreaking details about the tragic loss of her late husband, Jaiye Aboderin, who passed away unexpectedly at just 33 while engaging in a basketball game.
During an emotional interview on the Tea With Tay podcast hosted by Temisan Emmanuel, she recounted the life-altering event that left her devastated.
Damasus revealed that Aboderin collapsed suddenly during the game and could not be revived, leaving her in complete shock.
The actress emphasized that his sudden demise was particularly jarring because he showed no prior signs of illness or distress.
She disclosed that they had even made plans earlier that day to meet up with friends—plans that would never come to fruition.
The abruptness of his passing left her grappling with profound grief, unable to comprehend the absence of any forewarning.
This tragedy, she explained, became a pivotal moment that reshaped her perspective on life and its unpredictability.
