Nollywood star Stella Damasus has reaffirmed her commitment to upholding the memory of her late husband, Jaiye Aboderin, following a touching tribute at the AMAN Awards.
Through an emotional Instagram post, Damasus posted a video alongside her daughters as they graciously accepted the accolade, thanking the organizers for the recognition.
Reflecting on Jaiye’s life, she expressed deep pride in their daughters and shared the enduring pain of his absence.
“Two decades may have passed, but your legacy remains unshaken. Seeing the incredible women our daughters have become would have filled your heart with joy.
“Every day, I thank God for blessing us with these remarkable, brilliant, and loving young women. Jaiyejeje Aboderin, your light lives on in us. We hold you close in our hearts forever. Rest peacefully, dear one.”

Previously, on the 19th anniversary of his passing, Stella honored Jaiye with a poignant tribute.
She affectionately remembered him as her soulmate and the guiding force behind their family, admitting that his loss left her shattered.
Yet, she found the strength to carry on for their daughters, ensuring his spirit lives through them.
