Savage stressed that success and wealth should not cloud their judgment, warning that divine intervention could swiftly replace them if they lose sight of their purpose.
The singer highlighted that a downfall after achieving greatness is far more devastating than never experiencing fame at all.
During a candid conversation on Hot 97 FM New York, she stated, “We’re simply the vessels representing Afrobeats. We can’t let success inflate our egos because, in an instant, someone else can take our place. The higher you rise, the harder the fall—and that’s a fate worse than obscurity.”
