Stanley Ontop Speaking Out

Renowned Nollywood star and human rights advocate Stanley Ontop has leveled explosive accusations against Nigeria’s National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), claiming the agency unlawfully transported minors from Delta State to northern Nigeria.

The controversial allegations surfaced through multiple social media posts on Ontop’s verified Instagram account earlier this week.

According to the actor’s detailed account, NAPTIP personnel allegedly conducted a raid on Happy Home Orphanage in Asaba during daylight hours on June 15, 2025. “Armed officials arrived in an unmarked white Hummer around 2 PM and forcibly removed eight adolescent residents aged 13-17 without proper authorization or documentation,” he asserted.

“These rogue operatives from Kano stormed our community’s safe haven for vulnerable children and essentially kidnapped eight minors. Where are the government officials? Where’s the Ministry of Women’s Affairs? The Governor’s special assistants? The First Lady? Only Delta activists like myself are speaking up,”

Ontop further claimed the children were being subjected to religious coercion: “They’re being transported north, given Islamic names against their will, forced into mosque attendance and Quranic studies. Those who resist reportedly face physical punishment, treated like prisoners rather than protected minors.”

A disturbing video testimony from Happy Home’s director, Christopher Nwokoye, corroborates parts of the story. “Upon finding an abandoned note referencing NAPTIP’s Oka office, I immediately contacted local police,” Nwokoye explained. “Authorities confirmed no officers were dispatched from their station. When I confronted NAPTIP officials at Federal Secretariat Oka, they disavowed any involvement, suggesting the operation originated from their Kano division.”
